Padel University Q&A Superbrain

Racket Wizard

Probe the racket database. Delve into the physics.

Find the best rackets for spin, control, comfort, power, or maneuverability. Compare rackets, look up specs and properties, find similar models and rackets that fit your game, or ask about the science behind their performance.

Answers combine Padel University’s measured racket database with its research on padel impact physics.

Tips & hints

Start with what you want, then add any details that matter: number of results, fields to show, priorities, sorting, filters, or units.

Build a question in pieces best 10 Head teardrop rackets, prioritize spin then power, show COF and swingweight, units=us

Current or historical

current rackets · historical rackets · show status

With no status filter, Racket Wizard searches all tested rackets. Current means currently offered by us and tested by Padel University.

Units

units=us · units=si · imperial · metric · in inches

How many results

top 10 · show 7 · list 12 · n=15 · 10 best

Choose fields to show

show status · show swingweight · show ACOR and COF · show shape · show PI · show best combo

Sort results

sort by spin · sort by balance asc · order by ACOR descending · sort by racket

Sort by several things

sort by brand asc, shape asc, power desc

Sorts first by brand, then shape within brand, then power within shape.

Set priorities

priority comfort · priority=power · prioritize spin then power

Natural wording such as prefer comfort over power also works.

Filter by a measurement

ACOR > .43 · swingweight under 160 · balance above 27

Also understands <, >, <=, >=, above, below, at least, and at most.

Filter by a range

ACOR between .40 and .42 · COF .20-.30

Count instead of list

count Head rackets · how many diamond rackets · number of Babolat rackets

Counts can combine with filters: count 27.7<balance<28.

Limit by shape

best diamond rackets · teardrop rackets for comfort · Head round rackets

Shapes: diamond, teardrop, round, hybrid, geometric.

Use balance categories

head-light rackets · medium balance · head-heavy rackets

Compare rackets

compare A vs B · compare A and B · A compared to B

Add fields or a direct question: show stiffness and balance or which has higher COF?

Find similar rackets

5 rackets similar to Head Extreme Elite · rackets like ... · alternatives to ...

You can narrow similarity: similar ... for spin and power.

Ask for statistics

average balance · mean COF · median stiffness · min ACOR · max swingweight · range of ACOR

Compare groups

average power by brand · average power by shape

Filters and groups combine: average power of round rackets by brand.

Rank by performance

best power rackets · most maneuverable · least stiff · highest ACOR · lowest swingweight

Look up one racket

Head Extreme Elite · show Head Extreme Elite · find Head Extreme Elite

Ask for science or research

what is ACOR? · why does stiffness affect comfort? · how is COF measured?

Ask about a player type

best rackets for an intermediate player · for a defensive player · for an improving player

Show vs. sort vs. priority

show COFAdds COF to the table. sort by COFChanges the row order. priority spinChanges how multi-trait performance is evaluated.

Combine them

best spin rackets best 10 Head teardrop rackets for spin, show COF and swingweight best 10 Head teardrop rackets, prioritize spin then power, show COF and swingweight, sort by spin desc, units=us
