Explanation

Swingweight: Swingweight is a measure of the racket's resistance to swinging about an axis near the end of the handle. Higher swingweight has more power but is harder to swing, lower swingweight is easier to swing but has less power. Sometimes a faster swing with a lower swingweight can make up for power lost in swingweight. The price paid for that is greater impact shock. Swingweight with commercial machines is measured about 10 cm (4 in) from butt.
Twistweight: Twistweight is the resistance to rotating around the long axis through the middle of the paddle from butt to tip. Lower twistweight is easier to maneuver but will twist more on off-center hits, thus losing power and delivering more shock.
Dynamic Impact Stiffness: Is a measure of force necessary to bend the racket an inch when impacted by an impact device. The racket is secured at the tip, throat, and butt, and the racket impacted in the middle of the head. Stiffness will be most closely associated to "feel". It is closely tied to vibration frequency but not necessarily (or strongly) to power.
Power Potential: This is also know as Apparent Coefficient of Restitution (ACOR) — a fancy way of saying how much of the incident ball speed remains after bouncing from a stationary handheld racket. This depends primarily on swingweight, twistweight, and hittingweight. This is measured in the middle of the racket face.
Hittingweight: The ball is not hit with the full weight of the racket. Every location on the racket behaves lighter depending on the combination of weight, swingweight, twistweight, and balance of the racket. The measurement reported here is taken in the center. Higher hittingweight indicates more power and less shock.
Static Friction (COF_s): This is a measurement of the friction force inhibiting a static ball from sliding across the racket. Most balls slide upon impact. If sliding balls come to a stop during impact and remain so, they will have greater spin than balls that slide throughout impact.
Sliding Friction (COF_k): This is a measurement of the friction force trying to bring a sliding ball to a stop on the racket (known as "gripping"). Balls that slide throughout impact produce less spin. Higher COF_k rackets have a better chance of stopping the sliding, gripping with static friction and producing maximum spin.
Vibration Frequency: Frequency is an indication of racket stiffness and may be felt as a buzz in your hand. It represents how many times per second a free-standing racket will bend back and forth (Hz) when hit by a ball.
